The Programme

Our programme is now full, and it's looking great! Ok, so we're biased, but we don't think you'll be disappointed.

Friday

Our programme kicks off at 6:20pm with an Opening Ceremony and Song Book Launch. That will be followed, at 6:40pm, by Playing Rapunzel, who are taking advantage of their set to launch their new CD Abseiling for Beginners. We have a good mix of other performers lined up for Friday evening, some familiar, others new. It'll be a cracking evening!

Saturday

If you fancy a spot of Medieval dancing, or want to learn a bit about microphone techniques, then Saturday morning's workshops are for you. They'll start at 10:00am. The day's concerts should get off to a rocking start with Tim and Annie at 11:00am, and from then on the day is just packed! There'll be two hour-long One Shots concerts (one before lunch and one after), the n'Early Music Consort (straight after lunch, at 1:40pm), two Guest of Honour concerts, the Filk Fund Auction, and much more besides!

Sunday

Sunday's also starting with workshops, including a mystery one by Rand and Adam. Afterwards we're throwing in some silly games to help wake you all up before the Before the Dawn Extravaganza, which will start at 11:40am. If you need an excuse to dress up, this could be it! Two hours (and a lunch break) dedicated to this classic British filk song cycle. The rest of Sunday afternoon will be filled with concerts by our Guests of Honour and by visitors from Over the Water, and of course, the Sams Awards.

If you have a set and you haven't already done so, please e-mail your tech requirements to us so we can alert Martin and Andy Gordon-Kerr, who have kindly agreed to run our tech this year.
