Membership Rates

At-Con registration rates

On-the door membership rates (for those who have not registered before 1st February 2017) will be:

Whole Convention Rates:

Waged adult attending: £40
Unwaged adult attending: £28

For those under 18, membership rates are as follows:

Children aged 5 to 17 years: £1 per year of age at time of joining
Children under 5: £0 (free, but please register them!)

Day Rates:

Friday, Adult: £10
Saturday, Adult: £20
Sunday, Adult: £15
Children (aged 5-17) at half the adult rate, under fives free.

Pre-registration rates

Advance membership rates (until 31st January 2017) were as follows:

UK Rates:

Waged adult attending: £38 (from 1st December)
Unwaged adult attending: £27 (from 1st December)

For those under 18, membership rates are as follows:

Children aged 5 to 17 years: £1 per year of age at time of joining

Whether you choose to post us a cheque, or pay us when you see us, or send your registration in by email, please ensure you include the information requested on this membership form (or this plain-text version) or one of the fliers distributed at other Cons (but please note that the membership rates that apply are the ones given here).

Getting Memberships from Overseas

There are two options for overseas payments:

  1. You may pay for adult memberships (but not child memberships) online using Ticket Source (see below.)
  2. Alternatively, you may commit to pay your membership (at the rate in place when you make the commitment) in pounds on the door at the Con.
Child memberships can only be paid for at the Con, as Ticket Source does not have a sane way to handle the pricing scheme we use, but the age of the child on the date of joining will be used in the calculation.

Online Payments

Adult memberships (but not child memberships) may be paid for online using Ticket Source. This will handle credit card and Paypal payments, and do currency conversions, but will add a surcharge which works out at about 9% for a single membership and about 7% for two memberships. (Paypal is slightly more expensive.)
